100 Ways to get Rich! #1 – AIR BLOCKS

Over the years I have come up with a lot of ideas to make a million dollars. I am currently working on a couple but I have decided to have some fun and let a few go to see what someone else can do with them. I am going to give away an idea a week for six months and see what happens. Feel free to comment or give it a try. The first one is:

Air Blocks

Are your children creative? Do they like to build their own forts? What do they make them with? Blankets? Chairs? The best product I have encountered was a fold-together cardboard brick. The kids played with them until they wore them out.

Air Blocks would be a similar product with some interesting variations and uses. Air Blocks would actually be a collection of inflatable bricks, windows, doors, chimneys and other pieces that would come with Velcro on their edges. Once they are inflated, you can construct whatever you like. You should be able to build some interesting play forts. Whenever you like, you can re-build a new design. The product variations are endless.  Perhaps a castle, a log home, a ship, or even a tower, you name it.  Offer an array of characters to inhabit the fort. The pieces are waterproof, so the kids might want to use them outside. When you want to pack up the pieces, simply deflate them.

2011…

I have nothing really to add to this idea. How you would actually manufacture each of the pieces would take some thought but the concept is there and kids would love it!

  2. Hey Tom. Great idea. Keep them coming.

    • Thanks Ron. I’ve got it set up to go out every Tuesday around noon, I believe. It’ll be like Dragon’s Den. What’s coming up? Somehow, I don’t believe I’ll have 2.5 million followers though!

Love the whole concept… both the blog and the blocks.
